Delete entire words: The Ctrl+Delete combination will delete entire words, which will save you some time when you are making substantial changes to documents." On a Mac, the combination is fn+command+delete on MS Word. For all the other applications I've used on a Mac, the combination is fn+option+delete. Why is it different? Beats me. Hope this helps!
